I just saw the movie Marley last night and thought it ws great!
I am sure that many here have already seen it but, if not, I highly recommend it.
It is not only fantastic narrating the life of Bob Marley but also does a great job covering history, politics, culture, Rasta religion, etc. And what great concert footage!
It's been a while since I listened to Bob Marley's music and it made me put on some of his CDs last night after watching the movie. It also gave me the urge to buy some more of his music. I do not have either of his 2 live CDs - Live or Babylon By Bus - but will have to get one or both. I have heard that both are great but I am curious if there is a preference for one or the other.

Babylon By Bus is just like being at one of his concerts. I saw him in 1978 and his concerts did not change much setlist-wise. I have the vinyl and have never heard the cd of Babylon By Bus, so can't speak to the sound quality of the cd, only that its a very good vinyl album. I also like his last two solo albums, and the first two Wailers albums, especially Burnin'. One of the better compilations is called Bob Marley Songs of Freedom box set.

Agreed, great doc, I watched in netflix streaming about a week ago. Lots of insight regarding his production and family life. I have a co-worker that recently went home to Greece and brought me back some early vinyl that have not seen before. great stuff.
btw, Damian Marley inherited most of his dad's talent, imo.
