To the best of my understanding 20-275 watts is a range that tells you the minimum and maximum wattage these speakers will consume in order to operate. Speakers do not produce power, they consume it, so there's no RMS rating. They will eat what you feed them. The better fed they are, the better they will sound ;-)

I'm not expert thought, that's just my best interpretation.

practically all speakers have an rms rating in what they can handle.
    example
    Audiobahn AW1251J sub
12" 500W RMS 4-Ohm Dual Voice Coil Natural Sound Subwoofer

    tweeter
    Audiobahn AT60J
    Power Handling:100W RMS

    talks about speakers and rms

RMS for speakers is sort of a pointless measurement.
What it comes down to (and your own link confirms this) is abuse. At any normal listening volume, the "power" of the amp is rather moot.
I have a pair of Monitor40s that are rated at a max of 125 watts running off of 2 200W channels. But because I do not abuse the speakers and listen to them at volumes that will not damage the speakers, they sound good and aren't being destroyed.

If you want a number to go with your question, just average your min-max ratings. 20+275=295/2=147.5. So your "RMS" is 147.5. But this number is pretty much a completely moot point as long as you are providing your speakers with quality clean power and listening at volumes that your ears can actually process.
