Stupid move last night

Last night I'm cranking the music from my BDP1 file player and measuring it at 100db, and it is sounding good! For whatever reason, I paused it. Later when I resumed play I had forgotten to turn it down. So, it started right at 100db, and it was like being hit. BAM!

My speakers, Aerial Acoustics 7T, seemed to handle it, and appear okay today, but I am a little worried. I hope nothing fails later due to being slammed with a lot of energy last night.

Those Aerials are built well man, they should be OK. The 10T's were my fav's for along time and sadly never got to hear the 20T's.

Been there. Once I was listening to ELP Karn evil number 9 in multichannel and fell asleep with my finger on the volume button. I had never heard music that loud before. It took a few seconds to get it turned down.
