Polk rt600 vs monitor 70

I have the opportunity to get the rt600s or monitor 70s for $100. This is what they were listed for on craigslist, both sellers might be willing to negotiate if that is overpriced.
The question i have is, which will be better for about 75% home theater and 25% music. Im am less concerned about music because i have a 2 channel system that i use for music. However, i want a nice wide soundstage and not overly bright sound. Also, which will match my polk cs20 center speaker better?

    If you have a CS20 get the monitor 70's for sure, you want your front soundstage to be timbre matched. That's a great deal too! Welcome to the forum.

    Welcome to Club Polk. :razz:+1 for that and you best snatch them up cause what I see around a pair of M70's go for around 250. I was just listening to my M70's in my shop today on a 2 channel rig. best of luck and please report back:loneranger:

    Thanks for the responses but it turns out the monitor 70s sold. Any input on the rt600s?

    600 or 600i? I ran 600i's as surrounds for years. Nice speakers for the $$.

    They are actually the rte600, i dont seem to be able to find much info on them. Another seller has rt50s for sale for 150 which seems a little to much. Anyone have feedback on those?
