I am putting together my 7.1 system and have 4 FXi A6's for my side and back surrounds. Should I have them all in dipole setting or a mix of dipole and bipole...? Anyone have experience with this setup and could give a recommendation. Thanks!

I run mine in bi-pole and it seems to me that its just personal preference. Try both and see what you like.

For your rear surrounds (e.g., back surrounds), I believe direct radiating speakers are recommended. Might want to consider something different. I run my FXiA6 as bipoles, and a pair of direct firing RTi4's as rear surrounds.
