Can not figure it out, I have an Onkyo network Reciever 8050. I have it hooked up to net so that I can stream Rhapsody but connection drops for a few seconds, if I hook up Iphone and stream same song it plays with NO
hick-up.
Firmware is up to date and I even baught a new router thinking it was the problem being that I am running Onkyo
via KAT cable and not wi-fi, my thinking was that I may of had bad switch at router.New router is a gigabit router
which is a whole lot faster than old one.

I also can listen to same track on laptop with no problems, begining to think Onkyo software may have some bugs
they need to address.

Anyone here run this onkyo in their rig?

I'd check a huge Onkyo receiver thread on AudioKarma forums and ask there. They may even have a thread for your specific model.

Have you tried other streaming music services that are built in to your onkyo? I have had trouble with pandora in the past, but I could go right to slacker, or vTuner and it would play with no problems. I haven't had problems with pandora in a long time though.

Why is your post so haphazard in format? Did you use other editor and then a cut and paste?
