Why are some people so rude and careless?

One of my pet peeves is when people handle cd's, dvd's, and blurays improperly. I checked out an audio book on cd to listen to during my commute and I had to wash.... yes wash every single cd just to get them to play because someone with cheeseburger-lotion hands used their fat saussage fingers to clamp down on the disk like a lobster (I'm talking at least a mm of dried crusty gross). Why is it such a hard concept to grasp that you don't grab discs on their playing surface?
They should have a short course in every school about only handeling discs on the outside or center. And you either pass or fail this course and you need this course to graduate.
Anyone else experience public rudeness latley? Anything that just makes you cringe when you see someone do it?

How about when my brother in law comes to town and switches the game out of the Xbox and leaves the game out on the tv stand rather then putting it in its case. LAZY!Mitch

Just be glad you're not living in the era of borrowing LPs from the library...

When you rent or borrow something that's available to the public, that's what you get. But you knew that didn't you?If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.
