What a treat I found while browsing NETFLIX last night, I found old Neil Young and the gang singing away in Nashville. Had some old friends as well including one of my favorites, Emmylou Harris. I will say it was EXCELLENT quality in every category, put my SDA's into 2 channel and let it rip.

Now for a question: Have any of you had any success in locating such fine, vintage concerts on any commonly available streaming media because I would like to listen to more.

And as a side note this is one excellent example of why it is such a good idea to have "state of the old art" main speakers on your HT rig.

    +1

I found many concerts on Netflix I had no idea even existed. I've watched shows from Asia, Yes, Deep Purple, Toto, Foreigner (newer stuff with Kelly Hansen), and Moody Blues, to name a few. I also found a couple of "rockumentaries" showing how particular albums were made, Metallicas' Black was one I enjoyed.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Heart of Gold was, I believe the opening number, but the concert is called Prairie Wind performed in the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

The blu-ray of this is beautiful with excellent sound. Still haven't watched Journeys. Has the third one (can't remember name) been released on blu-ray?

I enjoyed watching the Fleetwood Mac Rumours LP documentary streamed from Netflix and have noticed other album docs like Steely Dan Aja available too.

I like the documentaries they have on various albums on Netflix. One day I sat down and watched a bunch of them back to back: Bob Marley's Catch a Fire, The Sex Pistols Nevermind the Bullocks, Nirvana Nevermind. They got into each track, the engineers explained the arrangement and musicians. Pretty cool.

I've watched a few, and I've always found the audio quality to be a bit lacking, but I feel the same way about anything I've streamed on Netflix.

It is good way to test drive concerts before buying the dvd or bluray.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

Netflix is the best for finding old concerts. Didn't know Charlie danials could play the guitar as well as he did till I saw him on the volunteer jam

Try serious old school, Netflix has Monterey Pop on 3 CDs, don't know if they're streamed.
