Thanks for all the great recommendations on PC's. I got a nice deal on the above mentioned Venom 3's. I ordered 3 of them...I'll give them a workout to make sure they live up to their reviews.

    Good for you. A few years ago I put a Venom cords on my amps, and was amazed at the difference. It got me wondering if a $100 cord can do that much then what can the $1000 cords do. So, I replaced the two Venoms with Python CX and was even more impressed. Even if they do not work for you they should be very easy to sell.

    They're going to used on my new d-Sonic M2-600M monoblocks & the Equitech Balanced Power unit. Hopefully they work out.

    I picked them up from Music Direct. I tried the usual places for used...audiogon, audio circle, amazon, the cable company, ebay, but had no luck with the Venom 3 cord. The 30 day return policy is nice though.

    I have my doubts on a Power cord making any significant improvements to a computer. A computer is a high noise environment to begin with. You want something to reduce that noise on the way out, like a good dac....with a good powercord attached.

    Congrats Phil! I've been using venom3s for the last few years - in fact, it was my first 3rd party PC; could tell the difference right away. I'm sure you'll dig 'em :)
