Ordering contacts online?

Does anyone here order their contacts online? I'm looking to switch to that for added convenience and saving a few dollars. Any recommendations on who to order from? I've looked at www.aclens.com, but they're more expensive, as well as www.1800contacts.com and www.visiondirect.com. www.replacemycontacts.com is cheaper, but looks like a shadier website.

So, who do y'all use?

Simple question. If you had a cool million bucks, what would you do with it?

I've used 1800contacts in the past. However, I've since found that Sam's Club is even cheaper. As I recall, the membership pays for itself just in the savings of a 1-year supply order of contacts. Of course, I should mention that I wear more expensive Toric lenses. Your results may vary. Might want to compare though.
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

I have not used 1-800-contacts for a few years now. Last time they sent me Acuvue with mismatched date codes. They do have a shelf life I am told and should be matched. They seemed fine but who really knows!! Since then I buy local which is always a good thing in my opinion, I try to do business with local business anyway. ALWAY CHECK THE DATE CODES ON EVERYTHING.

    On another note LOL
Since I have aged alittle my eyes changed too!! Now I wear one contact at a time so I can see well both far and near. I hate wearing "cheaters" when I need to see close up so this way is a happy medium. Not perfect but works. If I am driving at night I'll wear both lenses to see better. One in one out takes a little getting used to and my depth perception is slightly off but I manage.
    Good luck.

NJ, if you are talking about the expiration date, that doesn't matter as long as they don't expire before you use them. They don't need to be the same.

The expiration date is the proper wording. That's exactly what I mean. I can buy a couple pairs of boxes and have them for a year easily.

    seeclear,
    I love your quotation

We've used VisionDirect for years (now part of Drugstore.com/Walgreen's(?)). Go to Walmart's eye doctor for the exam, get our prescription, and order the contacts online. 1-800-Contacts and Walmart are paired together as well.

So far, we've found the best prices for the contacts we use at VisionDirect.

AC Lens is who I've been using for the past few years. They always seem to have the best price, and I've had no issue with their service.

Never heard of them -- will have to check their prices next time around!

Have used 1800Contacts, AC Lens & Coastal Contacts in the past. Nary an issue with any of them.
