Thank you Dawg for your diligence. Received the GEs 5814As last night and they are date stamped 1956. Put them in the amp 1 but it was too late and not worth warming everything up to listen.

    They sure are pretty.

Thanks guys, I am so humbled that you keep voting everyday and since the beginning.

Tom, here is the new rack I bought for the amp 1. I wish those dand PSVANE 6CA7s would get here.

Probably overkill for the office but it sounds great!

Nice! Have you had a chance to finally crank her up and listen to her yet? I see that she's powered up and ready to go....

Yeah, doing that right now. 2 of the JJs were bad and kept blowing the main fuse, so I have 2 JJs and 2 something else's in it and it still sound good.

I am using an RCA 5751 3 mica BP D getter and a pair of GEs pictured above. The PSVANE 6CA7s should really step it up a notch or two.

Hmmm, whose JJ's? Were they the ones that were in there? I ask because she was playing fine last I heard her. I've got some spares of some tube or another to play around with [I'd have to look]. I should know what place the JJ's were in but it's been a while since she's been in my rig. I miss that amp already. It looks good on that rack and I'd like to hear your observations with the PSVANE's.
