Need to find a super cheap surround bar for the bedroom. Doesn't need a sub, doesn't need to be super loud. Just needs to be remote controlled and possibly have 2 inputs, if not I can just run the audio out of the TV since I only need stereo.

Suggestions?

I would for sure go with the Boston Acoustics model 25 with the wireless sub for $130 on amazon

If you want super cheap then the LG 160 watt for $68 but you will have to add it to the cart

instead of a soundbar I would suggest powered monitors. You can either buy something like some computer speakers, personally I run the audioengine A5's they are going to outperform most any of the sound bars since they have real space for the driver to move. You just hook them up with a headphone jack and then your TV remote does all the volume control for you.

I suggested that to the wife and she said "Heck NO!". She didnt even want me to look for a cheap HTIAB on CL to do a 2.0 setup.

Honestly I dont want super good performance, otherwise I will have to hear the stupid "Housewives of NY, ATL, etc" even louder than I do now when trying to go to sleep.

The wife just wants something thats a bit louder than the built in speakers on the TV.

Appreciate the offer and it looks nice, but trying to get something local at this point as shipping something like that just isnt worth the hassle.

    Thanks again though!

Not really wanting to drop cash into wireless headphones since she will be watching TV from the bed and its about 7 feet away from the bed.

To be honest EndersShadow..I only have an old 27" Sanyo in the bedroom. Even that gets too loud with just the old speakers in it.
When i come to bed..it's pretty much..thats why i'm here..NOT to listen to your Sci- fi junk. It always ends up to be can you turn it down..i just want to sleep deal. I would never buy a soundbar...LOL
Maybe a set of headphones for her is worth the money......
