Nice NAD 2140 power amp 40 w/ch high current

Very nice NAD 2140 power amp. This model was made 1981-1983 and is the power section of the 3140 integrated amp. Features 40 watts per channel with well over 3 db of headroom with dual mono design. When tested these tend to put out 70 into 8 ohms, 110 into 4 ohms. Dynamic headroom runs anywhere from 80 into 8 ohms to 212 into 2 ohms. The amp can be bridged with over 3 times the power and used with another 2140 the 3140 integrated. The amp works great but the Soft Clipping light is out and on start up the power switch can make noise for aroud 20 seconds then it is fine. It needs to be cleaned I sprayed it and it rarely does it now. The original power cord has been spliced/soildered back on as I use a detachable with my gear. The amp works well and sounds very nice and is very very powerful Asking $70 thanks
