Thanks to all! "thsmith" my room dimensions are 24' x 15'. I now this setup in some respects may be a little overkill, but we may be moving this year and one of the requirements of the new home will be a larger HT room. So I figured I wanted something I could grow into so to speak... At least that's what I told the wife....

chumlie, hopefully the OPPO BDP 103 will live up to the hype... If anyone has any recommendations for a good A/V rack please chime in. Something that can support at least 80 lbs / shelf...

VTI makes some nice racks. Oppo is very nice. I was wondering what you were using for TV or projecter.

You are asking a lot of the sub with 2900cf. Probably a great sub up to 1800-2000sf.

Appreciate all the comments. Yes it was expensive but compared to the absolute top of the line it is really a drop in the bucket... I was truly astounded by the amount that can be spent. I really wanted a system that would be "good" and not leave a lot of "want" later. This forum has been a tremendous help. I will post pics and some reviews when I get everything set up.
