For Sale: Dahlquist DQ 10s with stands

I have decided to let my Dahlquist DQ 10s go and to go the Polk SDA route instead. The DQ 10s are in nice shape and work fine and they have custom made stands (a little taller than the original stands). They do lack the rear metal grill that goes over the back of each speaker but, otherwise are in nice shape and sound great.
I am asking $485. I just want to recoup my money and buy some other equipment. Sale is local pick-up only. I live in Albany, NY. Unfortuantely, there is no way to ship these huge speakers. I'd be willing to drive within a reasonable distance to meet a buyer (an hour or two from Albany) if I could get a few bucks for gas and tolls. I can e-mail pictures if interested as well (sorry but I did not know how to post pics on this forum).

    Price dropped to $450. I'd like to move these (even if I have to swallow some of my original cost) so I can help pay for a pair of Polk SDA 2s I bought. Time to move on and let someone else enjoy the Dahlquist DQ 10s. Again, sorry but shipping is not posssible with these large and heavy speakers so only local pickup is available in Albany, NY.

    I forgot to add to my original post that this pair of Dahlquist DQ 10s is the more desirable mirror-imaged pair with yellow caps.

    Final bump. Local sale only. These are just too big to ship! I live in Albany, NY, 3 hours north of NYC, 3 hours from Boston, etc.

    bump. I still have these great speakers. Local pick-up only (Albany, NY).

    I'd like to sell ($400) but would also consider a trade for Polk SDA speakers or a Parasound HCA 1200 receiver.

    They are not too big to ship, but would cost a pretty penny. I actually know someone local to me in PA. that shipped a pair of these to Hawaii. I think the buyer had more money than brains.
