I was wondering how far away I should be from my RTI10 Front Tower Speakers?

I just pick them up haven't gotten all my pieces yet so I haven't installed them my basement isn't the greatest setup for a Home Theater system but i will be approximately 8FT from the speakers is this fine?

How far apart are they? That's how far away you should sit. In other words, you and the fronts should form an equilateral triangle.
    My humble setup...

    ...is no more.

I think when it comes to distance, your viewing distance from the flat panel is the first consideration. Then the location of your speakers come next and of course, the room always plays a big factor.

If the RTi's are anything like the RTiA's, then they like to have some room around them and not shoved against the wall or in a corner.

I view a 64" wall mounted plasma, sit 12' from it. My A9's are 9' apart and toed in and 11' from viewing distance. I have the rear of the mains elevated by 1/2" so that puts the bottom of the speaker 14" from the wall and the top is 18" from the wall. I prefer them a couple of feet from the wall but this room I'm in doesn't permit. Of course, I'm in between dedicated theater rooms

Anyway, there's my nickles worth of dollar advice.
