How bout a starter thread of the ugliest gear? I can't believe some of this stuff went into production. I'll start!

    I've got an HH Scott that looks almost identical to your Fisher.

    I'm with you on that one....I always thought the big Wilson speakers look like the Jetson's maid Rosie the Robot.

    In terms of purposefully designed equipment that was (or is now) ugly - as opposed to stuff that has uglied with age or abuse - my thoughts are drawn first of all to the Kenwood KR-1000 a/k/a the "Galaxy Commander".

    I have to say even though I'm not a big fan of emo stuff, looks wise, they look decent to me.

    i actualy like this, would be better if the buttons were white but i like the color for the dials, call me crazy, but just has a clean look to it, not at all in sync with the rest of the audio norms but not ugly by any stretch

    Ugly (or at least idiosyncratic) loudspeaker designs seem to be the norm nowadays...

    (sorry... I'll get my cane and dodder back to my rockin' chair and start droolin' again, now)
