Question for the computer guru's

I recent purchased an older Dell E6320 laptop and it currently has a single 4mb memory stick in it but will accept another, percentage wise how must faster if will it be if I add another.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

    Thanks Sal. It has a windows 7 64 bit operating system, I will look into the link you provided.
