Having never hooked up multiple amps (together) before I was just wondering. Once i send the preamp signal from the recever to the amp does the recever control the volume on the 2nd amp or do you need to use two volume controls?
Dan
I'm thinking the Recever controls it but not sure.

use of pre-outs puts the pre in control of the external amp.

no problem... question is whether pre will coincidentally supply both the internal and external amps at same time... most do...
