This was the setup in 1977 in my barracks room at ft.riley kansas.
My roomate was the owner of the rotel tt and marantz, cant make out the model on the marantz, and dont know which rotel the tt is, it sure sounded good though.
Actually, after posting it here the model no. is more clear, looks like a 2440.

after looking it up, a 2440 was a quad rear channell amp, could i be misreading the model, or could a little 20 watt rear channel quad amp have sounded so good?humpty dumpty was pushed

Thats what im thinkin, he had some big marantz speaks.
