e have one Technics SL-BD24 turntable and one Technics RS-B17W looking for a good home. These are separate units.
The SL-BD24 turntable functions and is in excellent shape. It does NOT have a cover (see pic), and it is missing the belt drive (which you can get online for $7.50 at http://www.vintage-electronics.cc/Technics_.html - NO affiliation) I plugged it in and the spindle turns. It is extremely quite. Needle appears to be in good shape.
The RS-B17W dual cassette works on both sides and the unit is very quit. Also looks to be in excellent shape.
I'm cleaning out the stuff I no longer use. Did I mention this is free? Come and get them... (email me, that is...)

I would take the turntable if I was close enough to pick it up. Probably not worth trying to ship...
