Ultrasone Pro 900

My Pro 900's right ear recently went dead I was able to fix it by pushing hard on the right ear till today (I assume the wire came loose), I can't find anything online but would it void the warranty if I removed the plate to see whats going on inside the earcup or should I just play it safe and send it to Ultrasone for a repair/replacment?

I'd recommend sending it back without touching it.
Ultrasones are excellent. I have the HiFI780.
