Been looking for a setup this holiday season been looking at the ebay store for some refurbished pieces.

I was wondering what were some of your experiences with these items?

Would you recommend starting up your first system with pieces from the store or just picking a few things you need from there?

    Buy from them with complete confidence. I have bought quite a few things from there and all items were as new.

    Good to know! I have seen a few posts here posters are highly recommending the refurbs from the store.

    I am in Canada but even going over to pick them up and paying the tax still makes it worth the savings.

    I'll chime in with the rest! I would have no fear in buying from PA again! My 12s are factory refurbs and when I unpacked them I couldn't find ANYTHING wrong with them! No blemishes...nothing! Could have easily sold them as new condition and would've had no problem believing it!

    Hi,

    Just wondering for those who have bought from them recently, what kind of timeframe do they ship the items in?

    I bought Monitor 60s, Monitor 30s and CS2 on Friday and was kind of hoping it would have shipped out today, but still no confirmation. Just wondering if it takes them a while to ship out or what?

    I know it has technically only been two business days, but I am excited to get my speakers!

    Usually its quick but beyond a certain weight a trucking company has to deliver them. My rti12s for example were that way in which case it might be a while.

    The actual ship day was within a day or two, my guess is that the holidays may be effecting your shipment.

    Wow, the RTi12s are 88lbs a piece! But, then again, they look like they could blow the doors off any room you put them in!

    With the Monitor 60s as the heaviest ones in my order at 35lbs a piece, here's hoping they get shipped sooner than later and I don't experience the delay that you did.

    And you are probably right about the holidays causing delays. Worst!

    Polk audio"s e bay site is an excellent and trustworthy site to buy from. I purchased a pair of (refurbished) lsi- fx from polk. And they arrived in (mint) condition. Highly recommended!!!!

    They should all get shipped pretty quickly then! All that stuff can come fedex or ups. You'll be jamming by Saturday!!........ hopefully!!

    And yes, the 12s can bring it when called upon! Now that they are amplified properly, all you have to do is turn that big knob and you can't help but grin!! Enjoy your new stuff bro!!! Its good times!!!

    F1nut, December 31st is only a holiday is some States. Hello!!!

    I actually got a shipping notification late yesterday on eBay that they have been shipped. I do realize that they won't be going anywhere as FedEx won't be running on Tuesday, a holiday. Hopefully they will ship out tomorrow.

    I ordered a set of speakers at 11:45pm on New Year's Eve, got notice yesterday they had shipped and delivery expected 1/8. That's pretty good service to me considering the holiday. Pretty amazing that shipping for 225lbs was free!
