Took my NAD amp back to the shop again this week. Maybe nothing serious, but a buzz had developed in my system and there's a big pop every time I power up. Not too sure what all is going on but, in the true spirit 'solution purchasing' (you should see my collection of golf clubs), I'm trying to buy my way out of this issue via compatibility-designed Marantz separates, the AV7005 and MM7055.

New stuff not here! Received my new AV7005 pre/pro right on time but the amp has been back ordered! I'm purchasing thru Crutchfield but have checked Audio Advisor and they can't get their shipment either. I asked about the 7 channel in that line and they are back ordered too.
Seems I've picked up a few comments here and there where Marantz has recently moved their production from Japan to China. don't know if that's a fact - or if so even recent news - but find it hard to believe Marantz can't deliver.
Starting to wonder if (perhaps) there are production issues with these amps (?).
