its a decent price, and even if you find for 40-50 dollars less, this price is still good as you dont have to pay shipping and can possibly get away from a border tax, and have them the second you buy them instead of waiting

If I were to pickup a unit piece by piece would it be wise to jump on the RTI10 on sale at the moment for $299/each and build from there?

Wouldn't you normally want to purchase a receiver and build off of that.

I do know I want a 7.1 receiver with at least 4 HDMI ports I have heard good reviews on the Pioneer 1022k.

I just ask this because the RTI are local.

Bestbuy and Futureshop get this wrong every year when pricing it as a single speaker or whether it's a pair.

Based on the pic and the pricing it looks to be a pair.

Just picked up those RTi4 Bookself for $150/Pair at Futureshop.

And am just about to pickup the RTI10s for $600/pair to start off my build.

I'll probably need to buy the other pieces online since home theater around here seems to be pretty overpriced.

I have been looking at the Pioneer 1022k it's on sale at newegg for $250 any feedback on that receiver to go along with my polk system?

Need to add the US address to my paypal but since I am not able to select a US address there is no way of me being able to add it it seems.

I might have a friend order for me.

Anyone have any recommendations on a good receiver to go a long with the setup I am building?

It appears for the money the Pioneer 1022k is my best bet anyone have any knocks on it?

i ended up finding a yamaha rx-v765 for 390 tax free, so i jumped on it, its 95w/c 7.2 and has pre-outs for all, not quite the beefcake that the onkyo is but i love the yamaha sound, grown quite attached to my 371, i will only use 5 not 7 channels so i hope i will get a little more juice to them, and when i get out of this place the 2 505's i have will go to HT and i will look along the lines of dsw pro or pro micro, or another company for a musical sub,

    @dirtydenim86

    Newegg is terrible for Canadians.

I tried to order almost $500 worth of Polks from them and I couldn't get it to work. Wouldn't take my Canadian CC, wouldn't take my Paypal, etc. Finally spoke on the chat with an agent and was told that they only take U.S credit card/Paypal with confirmed U.S address.

I've ordered tons of stuff off Walmart.com, Amazon.com, eBay, etc. with the card or Paypal and have had no issues. It's unfortunate that Newegg has these policies, as they lose out on a lot of sales from Canadians. But, then again, it's their company and they can run it however they want. I've just never encountered that before.

Luckily the Polk eBay store doesn't discriminate against us Canucks!

Experience the same issues they need a CC with an america address.

Luckily I was able to get most of my items from the Polk Ebay store and amazon for the same price.

My Budget went from $1350 for the boxing day deal that wasn't really a deal to this:

    2 X RTI10s
    2 X RTI4
    CSi5 Center Speaker
    PSW505
    and Onkyo 809
