bi wire through a device

Right now I have a few sets of speakers in the same room and I do use them all when the whim hits. They are all going through a Niles SP-6 6 speaker selector. None of my speakers can be bi-wired. Hypothetically speaking if I ditch a
pair or 2 and still have some diversity and get a pair w/ the bi wire capability can you run that through the speaker
selector.I know at the amp end the wires are paralleled so why not at the selector. I don't know why I would even
do such a thing ,I was just wondering if it was possible and would it work.
