Kickstarter Turntable Project $150

This is an interesting project. The Orbit's table has a similar designed tonearm as the VPI Classic. If one can take the risk of investment, the $150 price is better than a Craigslist gamble on a used table. Looks like about a six month wait to shipment if it goes into production. Not Affiliated. This looks pretty interesting. Actually considering taking the risk. Not sure where I would even use the table, but I'm sure I could come up with something.:biggrin:HT

I would go for the 250 option with the acrylic platter. Got to admire their ambition.>

Yea. That seems like the best deal. Especially considering you get both the platter, and cartridge upgrade. Heck, I recently payed $125 for just an acrylic platter for my mmf-2.1.HT

has anyone put in any money for this? i'm really tempted to give it a go for a nice budget TT... It'd be neat i think with the cobalt blue $250 option.Main 2ch -
BlueSound Node->Ethereal optical cable->Peachtree Audio Nova 150->GoldenEar Triton 2+

I've been watching this for weeks. Worried that it might be a lateral move to my already budget table. The part i don't like is the MDF....Where’s the KABOOM?!?! There’s supposed to be an Earth shattering KABOOM!!!

Still really tempted by this. Guess I better make up my mind. Only 4 more days.HT

No manuel cue lift for the tonearm. Anyone else notice that. Hope you have a steady hand. Dealbreaker IMO.
