To avoid the whole wireless interference issue, I tried wired but that still had the same problem. I read somewhere that signal dropouts can occur sometimes because of the DAC. I have a Rega DAC which is supposed to be very good about not dropping signals but I can't think of what else could cause the problem.

Process of elimination then, take the dac out of the chain and go digital coax straight to your receiver, if your using one, and see if it still does it. Do you get drop outs with other services ? Could also just be a bug in the free software. I've also noticed that the free trial software isn't exactly music streaming services best foot forward.

Will try without the DAC...just using the MAcbook Air's internal DAC and see.

It is some thing with the DAC.... listening with headphones on teh macbook there are no dropouts. Either that or the whole main 2-channel system is much more resolving that I can hear the very slight dropouts on it.

Doubt that my friend, have you maybe tried a different cable to the dac ? So far, you eliminated the software program, and now we are down to the dac and cables.

Hi all...I use 8tracks.com. Great site and the music is of pretty good quality. I was using Pandora for a while but always here the same music over and over. By the way I was using the free version.I am going to get a DAC and see how it sounds with 8tracks soon.
