Decisions decisions.

So I am looking at connecting a nice 80x2 amp to my computer.
The goal is primarily music listening and helping a buddy master his latest CD a little bit.

I know the Monitor 60s are definitely not what we, as a community, would consider an ideal musical speaker.
But I have the Monitor 60s (Got 2 pair before the 70s went on sale and ended up being my front mains so I have a pair of 60s sitting in the boxes in my garage atm).

But, recently, I found a pair of B&W DM12s in a flea market locally. He was asking $80. I hit him at $60 for the pair citing eBay and forum sales that I had found. He initially said no but then today he called and said I could have them for $60 if I wanted to pick them up this afternoon.

So now, my decision lies in which would be the better music option. They would be coupled with a dual 8 inch Klipsch sub.

The reason I am posting this in the Vintage thread is because the DM12s would be considered vintage and I am hoping more of the vintage fans have exposure to the DM12s specifically.

So can anyone give me any first hand experience with the DM12s?
