How to fix mushy guide button on Xbox 360 controller?
On my Xbox 360 controller the guide button (the button in the middle with the X on it) is mushy and it feels like its going to get stuck pushed down. It seems mushy and it doesn't have good feedback. It still works but how can I fix it feeling mushy?

    Either take it apart and clean it... or do what I did when my right thumbstick started drifting to the left constantly: Trade it in at Gamestop and use the credit to buy a new controller. The Halo 4 controller I have now is FREAKIN' SWEET.

    Its probably wearing out the rubber, xbox buttons are chiclet dome switches, theres not much to them and they dont last long, so trading it in is a decent option. Of course you could open it up, if you had a tamper proof #8 star driver and put a small spring in there. No but really these are made really cheap to wear out, thats how they make money.
