Looks nice, but a bit out of my range. I guess I will wait for the $500 Emo that will be just as good. Of course, I will be dead of old age by then.

And after spending all that money - me thinks a $1000 to $1500 vinyl setup probably still sounds better!

So, in other words, you have no idea how either sounds.

all that money to play a $12 CD that sounds like a 2nd grader mastered it. I'm thinking not.

But it is also a DAC, and an SACD player.

Seriously, while it is cutting edge for those who are unaffected by cost, what I hope is that the DAC technology trickles down, which it will at some point, to less expensive DACs. We are in a great transistion period where after 30 years designers are finally understanding how to get digital right. How many years, and technical evolutionary changes, did it take for Edison's wax cyclinder to finally start sounding great?

Your right about me not knowing what a $1000 to $1500 vinyl setup sounds like becuase I'm currently using a cheap early 80's Akia TT with a $39 ART DJ PRE II phono pre and it is making my Jolida CD player its B-tch.
