Hey been looking at the butt kicker. Is this a good brand? Do you like the feel? Is it worth the money? Is it hard on your furniture?

Same here, but I have a pair of DIY JL 12W7. Not the best, but good enough for now. I was thinking of butt kickers, but decided to put the money into dual subs. -
I've got a wife, thats all the butt kicking I need.
Dave,
Buttkickers need to be attached to the furniture. Something wives usually poo-poo off the bat so make sure yours agrees to that. Also you need a seperate amp to run them as they work off a subwoofer output which isn't powered by the receiver. Just be aware of those 2 things and the cost involved for additional amplification.HT SYSTEM-

I think Endershadow was looking into these a couple of weeks ago. I'm also considering a couple and now have a couple of old amps to use.

I just visited the Epic site and couldn't find any product available except a tee shirt and it's too cold outside for a t. Also I didn't see any on e-bay...what gives? Sold out at the company and nobody selling on e-bay...that's un-American.Main Family Room: Sony 46 LCD, Sony Blue Ray, Sony DVD/VCR combo,Onkyo TXNR 708, Parasound 5250,

Did you try Epik as opposed to Epic? http://www.epiksubwoofers.com/ -

My wife thought I was kidding when I told her I was ordering a second empire. And when it arrived, she looked at me like I had lost my mind, "Two of those????? You're killing me". Once I had everything "hooked up" and going, she was actually impressed by the smoothness in the bass response the second sub added. She hated my single, she "appreciates" my duals.

Thanks man, I appreciate that!! I've used M30's and M40's as wides, you know, it was a 7.1. When I stuck my M70's in as wides next to my A9's, wow, I had a whole new sound in the wides.
After I sold all of my monitors, I needed to replace my wides but wasn't sure with what; RTiA5's, A7's? Some had suggested towers were overkill and to go with A3's or A4's.
I knew the tower was definitely the way to go after running M70's, going with a second set of A9's was the ticket, not only do I have no regrets, the sound is as awesome as it looks if not more so.Source: BRP Panasonic UB9000, CDP Emotiva ERC3 - Display: LG OLED EVO 83 C3 - Pre/Pro: Marantz 8802A - Amplification: Emotiva XPA-DR3, XPA-2 x 2, XPA-6, Speakers, Mains/2ch-Focal Kanta No2's, C-LSiM706, S-702F/X, RS-RTiA9's, WS-RTiA9's, FH-RTiA3's, Subs - Epik Empire x 2
