MFSL SACD: Doobie Brothers - What Were Once Vices...

I've had the MFSL SACD Doobie Bros "What Were Once Vices" for a bit now, but gave it the full listening experience today.
With the family gone, I was able to sit un-interrupted, a bit of something nice to drink, and with the volume at a good room filling volume.
What a great SACD this is!
Great sonics, clear layers of instruments and the music is just plain *good rock*.
If there was anything to critique is that on most of the tracks, the bass seems just a tiny tad 'shy'.
But when you get to track 11: Daughters of the Sea - it all comes together.
This track is a system demo track....wow!
Thumbs up!

H9: If you don't trust what you are hearing, then maybe you need to be less invested in a hobby which all the pleasure comes from listening to music.

I've got a vinyl copy and enjoy it. I can only imagine how it sounds on Sacd. I got the poster from the lp down in the pub room with the shot of them in front of DoobieLiner.Home Theater

Yes, MOFI has done a great job with these Doobie Brothers SACDs. This one along with "Toulouse Street" and "The Captain and Me" are excellent. "Stampede" will be released sometime this year.Parasound P5 Pre
