Ignore list

I never used this before, but since it is taking so long for the mods this weekend to remove the DVD rip guy, I thought I would use this feature. However, after adding him to the list, his posts are still visible. Is there something else to do before it works?

    Did you do the following, "To add a user to the list, enter their name into the empty text box and click 'Okay'."

    No. I went to the user profile and clicked on Ignore User. However, I just came back noticed his posts are not here now. So, it either did work, or the moderators sprang into action.

    You realize it is the weekend, right? maybe they don't work 24-7....

    Duh. Yes. That is why I was using the ignore list. :rolleyes:

    I just added the latest rebirth of the DVD rip spammer to the ignore list, and his posts are still there. However, I clicked on a post, and got the message it is hidden because he is on the ignore list. While I guess that is useful, for this to be effective it also needs to hide all threads started by the person on the ignore list.
