Reasonable price for a Marantz of this power. Ebay auctions are "killers" and you'll see something like this bid up badly before you can get your hands on it. I got my 2265 (no by e-mailing the guy directly and doing a "private" deal off ebay since he was only an hour away. And it was a good experience, very much like buying from a fellow Polkie!

Thanks. It does sound fantastic with the polks (both pairs). Missed payroll cut of on several commisions before xmas and need the cash right away or it will stay with me.my first one and the damn thing surprised the hell out of me.it is a nice one.it drives the crap out of my 5jr+'s with the new caps.in fact it (if not sold within a couple days ) will proberly replace the parasound hca 800ll in my bedroom sys.just for the record i plan on proffesional packing,double boxed shipped right i figure 50/60 bucks give or take.

Hello, soundfreak. While a threat to a higher price elsewhere definitely will not work to move things here, might I suggest more pictures and a definitive description of the actual condition. Things like what was tested, when the last time it was regularly played, specifications, year produced or maybe some other history about this particular unit. Your original description leaves too much open not only for the discriminating buyer but the novice as well.

Just a little bit of friendly advice. I can only hope that it is taken that way.

Would do all tjat for anyone interested, only half of me really wants to sell it. Im within 24 hours from pulling the ad anyway.if it dosent sell by than ot will be taken off market and sent to my tech and completly gone thru and either kept or go on fleebay for the real money these can bring there.just offering it here first on the cheep for fellow polkies. I have aleays recieved good prices from fellow polkies here in the past and trying to do the same.if u look around u will see this is way below what they have sold elsewhere and even very recently.and the picts dont lie.but i do appriciate the suggustions.

Yea cnh i saw that auction (17 bid already). Think that will go large! one just sold for 420. On the 12th. Not planning on selling for the "big bucks " till have it fully checked out ( thats just me.) ive been listening to it for over a week and it hasnt missed a beat. Very clean and looks good inside. But once gone thru and i KNOW its perfect as it seems than all bets are off. Im not a big reciever guy (prefer seperates) but this is a very nice amp, just cant see where it would fit in my systems.though someone would like to play with it for a while as i have .sure as hell cant do anything butt make money on it at worst case.already down loaded the service manual but my tech knows tjese recievers very well and is all ready to set it up and go thru it for me. So if no one wants it here it can always sell, but it so damn pretty (LOL) sounds quite nine as well! My tech has a full set (of original) bulbs for it, will clean, detox ect ect.than i can justify 450.00+. Worst case ..i get to enjoy it for a little while.
