had the time. Any help would be appreciated....

They are good shape. Need speaker cloth replaced on one. Cat got one not bad. They used to sound pretty darn good.
I'll have to hook them up and listen to them again and take some pics.
    400 huh I can't remember what I gave for tweeters, maybe 40 each x 4-160.00?

There are worth nothing here because you need 100 posts to sell anything. Thread reported.

Sorry about that. Why didn't you install the rdo tweeters? They sound much better than the originals. That and redoing the crossovers might make you think twice about wanting to sell them. Welcome to the forum.

Ok so don't buy it. How about a guess on what they are worth? I have a guy interested already. I don't
have many posts on this ID but can I add my old ID Post amount to this ID then I would be well over what
I need to actually sell them.

    Thank you leroyjr1
The polk forum used to have alot of decent people willing to help with whatever. What happened?

That's very true...I haven't had time to play with them. I changed/Updated my system and they got parked downstairs
and not really used. I haven't had time to mess with much, especially speakers.

We are very helpful to those not obviously trying to circumvent the rules.

You can google search past recent sales, and or find similar speakers for sale on ebay and other forums to come up with a resonable price to ask for yours.

Go ahead, make me out to be the bad guy, I seriously don't care. What I do care about is this forum and how hard many folks have worked to make our Flea Market a safe place to do business. I don't like it when someone seems to be taking advantage of that.

BTW, $400 is way too high. A buck, buck and a quarter tops.

If you offered me 10 grand a piece I'd tell you to go jump. I have a guy in Laporte IN that offered 300 for pair and I wanted to know if that's a decent price. He picks them up. The only mistake I made is to post for sale soon. So give me a ticket.

You couldn't give me them for free. They are the worst SDA Polk made.

Other than that, cry me a river.

Don't sound good about the cat doing them. You say only need to replace just one.
I doubt you can get a match but if you can you need to do it otherwise you need to do both.
    Are the cabinets scratched up?
If not then $400 with the new tweeters, the 1A are not thought of as well as the newer models.
The tweeters only go for $48 each, new.
I see them on ebay for $500 but they have been on there sometime.

The cloth can be easily redone with more sonically desirable stuff. $400 with the tweeter sounds fair?

Well it's worth a try. I know you have looked at ebay, so yea $400.
Make some noise about the new tweeters and how they are the recommended $200 upgrade.
Of course offer to help any way you can with the pick-up or shipment arrangements.

Wow, this thread has brought out the best and worst of some of the members -old/new, who gives a crap?? If you read the rules before starting such a thread you wouldn't hear the "in your face" replies. The member that was so bold with you is a fountain of great information and although sometimes harsh, he knows his stuff.
About your 1A's....400.00??? Not. I got my minty 1B's delivered in their original cartons for less than that, and they rock..for me! Good luck with your venture, and this is a great forum with some great people, so don't go away mad.

i sold my SDA 1C Studios (unmodded and with cat snags in the grill cloths) to a fellow Club Polker for $200 about a year ago. so i'm guessing you should let your's go for about 350 with the x4 replacement tweets.

My SDAs were just collecting dust for years too, and it was time to let them go at any price - so lowballed it here on the forum so that they would move.

    just saying

You will find that any question that you could ask that would be useful to you on here will get attacked by people who think they are "protecting" their boards. When all you are is a Polk fan with a question which you thought would get answered on a "Polk" forum. This is your first mistake. Good luck in this hostile enviroment where the wolves come out of the dark and attack this young, poor, innocent calf...
