Well yes I did it again .This time I searched for a while and the Vandersteens were just to much $ and maybe even a bit to big for my apt. This time I got a pair of pristine DCM Time Frame 350s.These are so clear w/ defined bass I
now know what imaging and spatial clarity is all about. Not fatiguing at all and these will be my go to speakers. They
now are the front facing ones w/ the ADC303x in the rear corners and the Bose 601s in the other corners. Yes the
Infinitys are disconnected and are up for sale on C/L. Also for treating myself for Chanuka I got a small Kenwood
receiver at Good Will for a big$15 and now the JBL J-2060 are playing through that.

Im not surprised you like yours and you describe the sound that way, if you can find some of the higher ranking members of the line cheap, i would urge you to jump on them

Good stuff, all the way around. DCM Time Frames...the name resounds with "history".

And $15 for a Kenwood, not shabby either. Those JBLs are not a bad little bookie, as well. Can we say Happy Chanukah!

Thanks ,that's good to know.A friend of mine has the biggy brother to these the TW 7S and can not even imagine how they would
sound. Now I hear the strainer buzzing on snare drums, bass is clear w/o any buzz or distortion and acoustic guitars are very present. They seem very effcient at volume it takes the Bose so much more to produce the same sound and the ADC 303X I do like and remind me closely of AR 3s.For as small and thin of a footprint I am truly amazed at what's coming out of these

Congrats on the pickup. I'm a big fan of the Timeframes/Timewindows. I think they are one of the great bargains in vintage hifi. I like to describe the Timeframe sound as "SDA Lite". They give you a glimpse of what the soundstaging and imaging are like with the SDAs. No they are not quite as good as the SDAs in this regard, but they are closer than what you would think if you have never heard them before. I also think the SDAs have more detail overall and have much better bass. The Timeframes are very warm sounding and easy to listen to for long periods of time. The bass is the only real knock on the Timeframes (to some). I like the bass on them, as it's tight and musical. They just don't dig really, really low. To some that's no big deal. The bassheads out there will want to add a subwoofer. Overall they are excellent speakers and I really enjoyed every pair I ever owned.

Hey guys thanks I usually get slammed for my cheap C/L pickups. Money is the one and only determining factor w/ me or I would go
w/B&W 802 Diamonds,Dynaudio,Vandersteen 5s and some mcintosh mono blocks and a c-45 pre and all the rest but alas I'm just a poor old soul who worked all his life got hurt along the way and that's why my taste tended to the more vintage inexpensive bargins.
wa wa wa .Thanks again this was a good response I needed this one.
