Thanks guys. I somehow avoided the ~month long wait for getting one of these.

I called the dealer at 10am and had it by noon. I didn't even drive the car before I signed all the papers, I already knew it was going to be awesome, and it is. Had to move fast because they said someone was coming into look at it at 1pm, and I knew if they were going to look at it, they were going to take it!

OK, let's get the facts straight. 40 years of age or younger? Or "mid-life" crisis buying? lol

    28. you're GOOD! Now if you were 20 years older, receding hairline, beer gut and second thoughts about your wife of over two decades, then...? Of course I'm not referring to "any" of my Polk "brethren" here. Because they're all beyond such "nonsense"; am I right?

    Enjoy the ride!

Nice ride for certain. 'bout time Toyota came out with something sporty, they've been dropping the ball for years.

Hey, I'm mid 50's. And I got a Mustang a couple of months ago. 1st fun car in 35 years.
The wife told me since we have never had one since getting married, now was the time.
I went on a trip to Eureka Springs. Going up/down the mountain on 62 I pushed it a bit.
The wife had both arms pushed up against the dash screaming at me the whole way.
And the Mustang wasn't even working hard!
Enjoy the car. When kids come along, you are in for 20-30 years of taking care of business.
The next sports car comes with grey hair.

slider2828: I wish, I already scraped the front bumper coming out of a driveway even though the stock ride hide is pretty high!

codyc1ark: There's actually rumors that TRD is planning on releasing a supercharger for it, so that would be pretty amazing.

badchad: hahah, phew! Glad I didn't break the rules. To be fair though its a Toyota in Europe and there's also the fairly identical Subaru version called the BRZ...

jeremymarcinko: That cracked me up! Pretty much, it's got a great metallic flake in it that makes it sparkle. They call the color "Whiteout" and it was a $220 option.

Nice looking car and actually fun to drive but i can think of much more impractical cars than that. Test drove one a few months ago back to back with the BRZ and wished I could insure one.
