Dual LSi7's vs. single LSiC

Just putting a thought out, I've been thinking about giving dual 7's a run for my center. One above the TV and one below, I have some other upgrades I'd like to work on next year, but a new front stage isn't one of them. To me the C has always been a weak spot in HT, even though mine is modded. I don't have the room for dual 9's, and I'm sure I could run dual C's, but this would be the cheaper of the options. Any thoughts on this? Have you tried it? Like I said, this is just a thought as the above/below center setups get great reviews. TIA.

I believe DK if I remember right uses dual 9's on there sides for a center Vs LSiC

I would think that the LSi7 would also out perform the LSiC

Yeah, I knew he did. Lot of real estate. 9' 'would be a different beast. Trey ran a above/below center setup IIRC, perhaps we'll hear from him.

I have been considering doing that with my LsiM 703's. Minus laying them on there sides. Off a separate dedicated amp, how do you wire things up?

If you only have a single center output to amp, you use a RCA Y-cable but you still need 2 amp outputs for speakers
