It's fantastic that RUSH finally made it in to the Hall but it seems tainted a little when Deep Purple is still waiting for this honor. Public Enemy before Deep Purple???!!! Blasphemy!!!

The R&R boat left the Hall of Fame decades ago.

In my opinion, the RRHOF is a farce. I don't understand why folks get so worked up about it. Oh well, to each his own.
If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

One would hope the lyrics to "The Trees", but maybe that's asking too much....
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

So much fail in that comment. You should rethink that and see what his writing efforts have contributed to not only music (for other artists) but also for the movie industry.

Not that I am a Newman fanboy or anything. But I have seen a few less deserving artists make that list.

I wonder how much each of those artists paid to get in? Deep Purple probably just doesn't want to pay the price of admission. Who cares about the Rock & Roll Hall of Shame anyway?

Any actual rock & roll ? Yeah, I've seen Toy Story, nice but, it didn't exactly "rock". Just being literal I guess.
