Spent some time comparing some speakers today.
Some really nice sounding boxes by Dynaudio, lots of fun!

So far the thing that has really surprised me is the performance of the smaller towers compared to what I remember of them. They have been idle for more than a year now. Their soundstage is excellent. Makes me wonder if the placement in the room is the difference, they are a total of three feet closer together than the biggest towers.
Differences are subtle but apparent as I move up the food chain. The smallest towers have a front firing bass port and seems to help the low end but still not up to par with the other two. The biggest set have it all way down to the lowest octaves and the blend throughout is top notch. Audio bliss.

Those look pretty sweet. What Polk speakers have you heard that most closely match these in performance?

Polk's new LSiM series speakers are wonderful performers. The 707's being best of the bunch and worth a serious look at by anyone putting together a nice rig.

Hey Kathy....they are from left to right Contour 3.3, Contour 3.0 and Contour T2.5.
Had a fun and interesting day doing the A-B-C thing with these boxes.
