Polkie price 2,500
I am helping a friend move these along. I am taking ownership of this sale however so you will deal directly with me on this. I simply want it stated out front I am not the original owner of these. I also am not taking any type of commision for this sale, simply helping a friend who needs to move along some gear do so.
They are a pair of Klipsh Palladium P17B's. They were used by the company at demo's and conventions and then sold to my freind directly. He is willing to put a Polkie price on them of 2,500 and there is a bit of wiggle room here so PM me if you have an offer. If pricing is out of line please let me know as well, he's looking to move them along for WAF reasons.
I would very much prefer NOT TO SHIP. He does not have the original boxes but might have the manuals. I wont totally rule out shipping but the 2,500 price currently DOES NOT INCLUDEshipping.
Prefered method of payment is via PayPal as a gift. I pack things bombproof and if you dont believe me, ask the folks who have bought from me (Drenis, TNHNDYMAN, RTART, Maximillian, etc).
For pictures of the actual speakers (other gear isnt availible), see his listing below (which has a higher listing price for those speakers obviously).

If you want additional pictures let me know and I will get some. Any other questions let me know via PM

In looking back I realized I should be a bit more clear. For sale is a pair (2 individual) P17B speakers."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963)

Very nice speakers that do not come up for sale often, at all...
-
Owned a pair of these myself and loved them. Did you try posting them on the klipsch forum also?

Dont have a membership there. Might have to join just to sell these, but doubt given I would have no posts or reputation there it would work well..."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Alright fella's this is a big move, my friend wants these to go.
Price drop to 2k on them, shipping NOT included in this price, and local sale still very much preferred. I am willing to help with delivery of these within a reasonable distance of Indianapolis as well.
I am looking into how much factory boxes and inserts would be since Indy houses their Corp headquarters I am hoping I can secure some boxes for cheap for shipping. If not these will be packaged professionally and insured for full MSRP with signature confirmation required.
P.S. I also had a buddy of mine post these on the Klipsh site for me."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
Hi guys. How would this pair of speakers compare to any of our stuff. Better or worse than my LSI 9's, or my RTI A3's or any SDA-SRS. Just picking your collective brains. I know in the end it will be my old damaged ears making the decision.Main Family Room: Sony 46 LCD, Sony Blue Ray, Sony DVD/VCR combo,Onkyo TXNR 708, Parasound 5250,

Michael: I wish I could answer you but I havent really spent lots of time with his speakers listening. I tend to not be a fan personally of horn tweeters, so I haven't really gone out of my way to spend time with the speakers.
While waiting for others to weigh in, I would read the stereophile review linked in the first post as a good guideline, he talks quite a bit about some of the types of music it might not work so well with."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
Would love to move these along, if your thinking of kicking the tires, maybe we can work something out."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963)

Looks like sale may be off, bumping now just in case it does fall through...
If your interested in em let me know, shipping can be arranged and the price is somewhat flexible, let me know."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Bump.
Link to pictures now is here: http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/ele/3525008504.html
Polkie price is still 2k on them, shipping not included, however there is some flexibility here in terms of pricing.
Also my friend is willing to entertain a trade + cash for the following items independently or as a package: a decent HT AVR with HDMI, 5 channels or more with spec's along the lines of the Onkyo NR609, 3 or 5 channel setup in either the Monitor or RTi setup.
If your kicking the tires here let me know and see if we can work something out."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
Enders,
I am a long time Klipsch forum member, and I may be able to help sell these for your buddy. PM sent...
PM Replied. Rick if any of the Klipsh guys can see this, that price will be honored for them as well"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
Excellent, I just let them know over there. Just trying to help, I'll see what I can do...
Sincerly appreciate it man. If my account ever got finalized or whatever I would post em myself lol...
Guess they heard about me "....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
LOL. At times things like that can take awhile, or go through the cracks over there. But, there are only 2 moderators over there (I'm pretty sure). If you ever need assistance to get registered or anything, I can put you in contact with the forum administrator...
Yeah I am not super worried. I was joining just to post the sale ad there if I even could since I know they would probably sell better there. I am not a huge Klipsh guy though I know quite a few..
Who knows if I borrow these babies to hook up to the tube amp I just got they might be sold to me lol..... just kidding, my wife would kill me lol...."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." I can tell you from first hand experience, those are something you WILL NOT FORGET anytime soon!
KILLER SPEAKERS my friend!
I listened to them last year with a Klipsch 12" sub, OMG!
If I did not want to step up a notch or two, they would be on my short list.
Just sayin!:cheesygrin:Testing

LOL, trust me I thought long and hard about buying em, but then paying for forumla wouldnt be possible, nor would paying for my funeral .
As much as I hate to help let them go elsewhere, its not in the cards for me, and honestly I am more than happy enough to let them go given the awesome tube amp given to me and the music it will soon be making."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Owned a pair if these about a year and loved them. Bought mine thinking later down the road I could buy the 37/38 or 39 towers and move these to surrounds. Never happened but when I get the funds this series will be my next speaker.
GLWS. -
I also love these things. I just got the word that my P37 pair is on the way. :-)

Suddenly wanting to trade off my whole set of Monitor Series IIs...thanks Enders...thats twice now you have gotten me hooked on something!
But like you, my wife would bury me under the garage floor if I brought home another pair of speakers.
Either way, PM incoming for something related."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."
