Thoughts on AMC 3025a Stereo Integrated Amplifier

Might be able to score this for a decently low price from a fellow employee. Is this a decent integrated and/or better than the Yamaha R-300 I have right now? Does have phono inputs but dont think its got pre-outs.

Comes with a remote which is pretty nice as well.

    I'd stick with the Yamaha personally. Under $50 maybe try it out at home first but otherwise I'd pass. No experience with that brand just a gut feeling really that the vintage Yammie will sound better.

    Not bad, but not stellar. I'd use it over the Yammy, but then I am not a fan of most things Yammy. I had one for a short time. Solid if sort of plain sounding.

    H9- Since you had it, I don't recall if you have a record setup... could you compare the phono sections?
