PSW111 and/or PSW505

Ok, so here is my situation. Originally, I purchased 2 PSW505 for my surround sound setup I am working on which currently includes:
2 RTI 12s
CSI A6 Center
FXI A6 rears
My dilema is with which subwoofers to choose. I orignally purchased two PSW505s. Since then, I have received 2 PSW111s for free with the current promotions. Should I stick with the two PSW505s or replace them with the two PSW111? Or should I run one of each?
Money is not a deciding factor. I am looking for the optimum sound quality for my home theater system. Please share your advice or experience!

I would expect the 505's to be better, but try'em out who really know's what will sound better in your room better than you and your own ears.Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

505's will be better, not even worth testing the PSW111's out. Keep em in the factory box and sell as such."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963)

Agreed. Its no contest, and you will get more money if you keep the PSW111s sealed. However, if that really doesn't matter to you, then I guess why not try them.

While the 111s may be a little more musical, maybe? With two Rti-12s up front you really need the power and lower LFE range of the PSW 505s or even something "better"?

I currently have the psw505 and it does an ok job overall. I think it suffers in the low ranges personally. I would sell all your subwoofers and maybe get one of the DSW Pro subwoofers.Front- RTI A7,(powered by ADCOM GFA 5500)
Center- CSI5,
Surrounds- RTI 6 and Rear Surrounds- TS 15.
TV-Panasonic P55ST50
SUB-SVS PB10-NSD and PSW505
Receiver- Yamaha Aventage RX-A2000 -
I have a PSW111 Powered Subwoofer that I'm using for my Home theater system. It has worked fine for a couple of years. Just the other day a low thumping, clicking sound started. I unplugged the subwoofer from my Onkyo TXSR608 Home theater receiver and simply plugged the power cord in the socket. I continue getting the low thumping, clicking sound. Anybody have this problem, or any suggestions as to how to address this problem?
Thanks... -

Rather than piggybacking someone else's thread which wasn't directly related to your issue, it would probably be best if you created your own thread to maximize the number of people who will see it and be able to provide a possible solution."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."
