The LSi15 is more laid back and smoother sounding, meanwhile the B&W will have it's typical house sound consisting of beaming upper mids and ragged highs.
Either will need a decent amp."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche -

Well I am thinking of buying a pair of xpa 100 to power these speakers. I only need them for 2.2 channel set up, 100% for the music. -
You plan on powering B&Ws with Emotivas? Then I hope you like very very bright highs!
The 15s will be less bright with those amps. But you should listen to both speakers with an amp that likes to tap the highs and see what "you" think!

I perfectly agree with you about matching emotiva with B&W. It really sounds too bright... -
I own B&W 804s and really enjoy them (as opposed to most on this forum). However; you do need to pair them carefully with an amp and I do not recommend Emotiva with them, especially for music only. I currently have a BAT SS amp with mine, and the dark sounding amp is a great pairing. I would highly recommend a high class A/B bias MOSFET amp with B&Ws, and there are many out there in many price ranges. The LSi15s are more forgiving with amplification and great sounding speakers, but not my choice between the two.
