SDA 1B Upgrades (Different Views on what can or can't be done)

This may be a sore subject for some, not trying to ruffle feathers, but some are telling me I can upgrade the crossovers to accept 198's an some telling me you can't?? Now, I have never heard either, so not sure it would make a difference one way or the other, so looking to see what some here have to say. That and if I were to only change out one tweeter in each speaker to a 194 would it make a noticeable improvement, or do I need to do all 4 to hear that improvement....?....or is the change so minimal that my beat up ole ears wouldn't know any difference. Thanks and hope to hear from members that really know!

Thanks Big Dawg, will do, but this thread is 1B activated and hope it stays that way. No control over that and still plan to read all 5 pages of the mentioned thread. Looking to see if the 2 members I am talking to are involved there as well."if it's not fun, it's not worth it & remember folks, "It's All About The Music"!!

Reading that thread seems like it could be done...
Hmm... I am up for trying anything personally...- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

The 1B high frequency circuit is basically the same as the blade/blade SDA SRS 2.Political Correctness'.........defined
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t-u-r-d by the clean end."

LF boards are just plain identical between the two models.
