I just got my Outlaw LFM-1 sub. I ran mcacc with the sub level knob on the lfm at half way. My receiver is setting the crossover at 100hz and my l+r+c as large. There doesn't seem to be much bass unless I crank the sub levl knob to near 100%. Anybody have any suggestions on proper setup?
Receiver: Pioneer VSX-1121K
Front: Polk Monitor 70 II (cherry)
Center: Polk CS2 II (cherry)
Surround: Satellites from my previous HTIB
Subwoofer: Outlaw LFM-1 EX

Make sure the crossover knob on the sub is set to the highest setting possible. Also try changing the phase knob on the sub to see what that does for you.
IIRC MCACC doesnt EQ the sub like Audyssey, so I would suggest doing the "sub crawl" which basically means put the sub in your main listening position and play some bass heavy music with the rest of your speakers off. Crawl around on the floor and find where you hear the most bass at and then put the sub in that location.
Also PM Mantis, he does lots of configurations with MCACC so he can help you dial it in. codyc1ark has that same sub IIRC so PM him to see if he has any thoughts on physical setup as well."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted."
