I'm not in a huge hurry to buy but this will be my next purchase. I'm in budget mode so around $200 will be about my limit unless something pops up that I can't refuse. Open to almost anything.

    Tony - I've noticed both. At the moment I have a Cambridge 550C as my transport. Wishing I could find more info on the Ack and worried whether the Magic would be a ton better due to using the same Wolfson WM8740 DAC.

    What are ya looking for the dac to do big guy ? 'puter music, or to just run the transport into or both ? 2 beans is gonna limit you even used.

    Tbone - Prefer coax but optical will do. No USB need as of now.

    You can upgrade the output caps with some dayton 1% and also modify some of the tweeter and upgrade some chips... Its really nice in my opinion.
