Hi, I am looking to track down a pair of the mounting plates for the FXI A6 as seen in this picture http://www.polkaudio.com/images/products/gallery/747192118549_3.jpg
I bought these speakers used, and the seller did not include these plates. I called Polk, but they do not sell these separately; I would have to order entirely new cabinets for $100/each. Obviously not worth it. If any of you are using the speakers on stands, I would love to buy these plates off you.

Also, if you know of any alternatives that do not involve drilling the cabinets, I would appreciate it. I was thinking to attach a key hole mount to the wall and hang it off a screw in one of the pre-drilled holes that were originally used to secure the plates.

I have seen folks use the Pinpoint AM40 wallmounts (~50 on amazon) and turn the entire bracket sideways so it is gripping on the back and front of the speaker rather than the sides. This would not require you to drill ANY holes in the speaker itself.

That honestly would be my best suggestion.

Seems a little janky. Do you know how secure the hold might be? One of the speakers will be in a walkpath, and I expect it to take a few light shoulder bumps.

As secure as you are willing to tighten the bracket. You could always put Velcro on the parts that are holding the speaker to the bracket for extra piece of mind. I used velcro on the bottom of the mount with my Monitor 40's.
