i'm ready to pull the trigger on one...for a few weeks there, they were popping up here, on the gon and bay...now, it's been quiet in used dared-land...if anyone knows of one out there that needs to be nudged, let me know..i'd like to avoid full-price-temptation..

    Got the ELP with Bugle Boys in it now. I like that its American made.

    The ELP is very nice. I had both at one time, compared them (as well as one can based on different tubes) and preferred the Dared. The biggest advantage the Dared has is tube rectification.

    Enjoy, Dodd gear is excellent.

    i have one on the way, thanks to dbaldus! i have a couple 12at7s in my Scott tuner i can pop in there till i get something decent..my question is: i have a lot of sweet 12au7s from rolling with my Aricaudio pre...will these work in the Dared?

    i'm now a dared owner! stock at7s gotta go...sounds mucho bueno than my aric audio pre...i thought that would be tough..thanks dbaldus!

    Congrats-- pm Brock(H-9),, he has more knowledge about tubes than me,, get a nice rectifier,,such as a big a$$ Brimar,,,then start rolling AT 7's,,Sylvania long plates,, Ratheons,, got a pair of Mullards in mine right now--the list goes on,,have fun.
    JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)

    Thanks george! I pm'd brock already;). I have four rectifiers to roll. brimar is in now. the stock no name signal tubes are ok. looking fwd to rolling. this is like new spkrs. i now have slam w my low end!
